Laine Dunn is a choreographer, instructor, and dance artist from the small city of Galesburg IL. They received training and taught at All That Dance in Galesburg, and was a member of the Blue Heat competition team. Laine also had the opportunity to choreograph for Galesburg High School's theatre program as well as local events in the Galesburg area. After earning their Associate of Arts degree from Carl Sandburg College in 2024, they moved to Chicago to pursue their Bachelor of Arts in Dance (2026) at Loyola University Chicago. While at Loyola, Laine studied dance pedagogy, the intersection of dance and disability, dance history, and kinesiology in addition to their technique classes. They have extensive training in contemporary dance, ballet, tap, jazz, and classical modern techniques, namely Graham, Humphrey, and Duncan. Laine loves being able to share the love of dance with their students and watch them grow!
